BE ADVISED - CREDIT CARD SCAM
It has come to our attention that a 3rd party company named Tradeshow Housing, is targeting our exhibitors and attendees advertising lower hotel rates. Be advised, this company is not affiliated with EB2009 and does not appear to be legitimate. The website they provided is not valid and they DO NOT have blocks at the convention hotels they listed; the Courtyard by Marriott Convention Center, New Orleans Marriott, Loews New Orleans, and Sheraton New Orleans .
Tradeshow Housing is not affiliated with EB 2009 and does not appear to be a legitimate company. PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THEIR EMAIL OR PROVIDE CREDIT CARD INFORMATION – THIS IS A SCAM INVOLVING CREDIT CARD FRAUD.
We have contacted the hotels and confirmed this company does not have blocks reserved and have alerted them to this issue. Be assured that all of our hotel contracts are negotiated to provide you the lowest rates and ALL hotels are required to guarantee that EB has the lowest rates during the contracted time.
Please use this website where you can process your registration and review the list of hotels available. We can assure you that our website is secure and is the appropriate source to make your hotel reservation. Our official housing provider is Experient (in conjunction with the New Orleans Convention & Visitors Bureau) and can be contacted at 800-424-5250 or 847-940-2153.
