This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB), the American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP) and the American Society for Nutrition (ASN). The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Federation designates this educational activity for up to 37.5 hours AMA PRA Category I Credits. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Meeting Objective/Target Audience
The objective of this meeeting is to provide a forum for the exchange of new research by scientists and investigators and to facilitate knowledge acquisition regarding issues and challenges related to care and prevention. At the completion of this meeting, participants should be able to: 1) discuss the research underway and/or the current topics relevant to their area of interest in pathology and nutrition; demonstrate a gained level of knowledge of the methods and techniques being used by researchers and practitioners; and 3) utilize information and data that lead to improvements in human health. This meeting is targeted to clinical practitioners, research scientists, and post doctoral fellows, students and medical education professionals with an interest in pathology and nutritional sciences.
